Wildcat Canyon Community School is reimagining the Waldorf education system by developing a lifelong commitment to learning, creativity, and social responsibility for students in El Sobrante, California. Founded during the COVID pandemic lockdown, Wildcat Canyon Community School is an independent, cooperatively led institution. We are a recognized Waldorf school, fully accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).

With support from RE-volv, Wildcat Canyon Community School’s solar array will strengthen the organization’s commitment to educating the whole child, nourishing their creativity, curiosity, and love of learning and the natural world. By saving thousands of dollars on energy bills, Wildcat Canyon Community School will reinvest these savings into school programming that enriches their students' education and supports social and environmental justice movements in their community.
