The Process

  • 1 RE-volv reviews the Preferred Installer application. If approved, your company will be featured on our website, and RE-volv will provide free financing quotes for all your nonprofit leads.
  • 2 Once a project is approved for financing, the solar installer, the nonprofit, and RE-volv meet to discuss the solar financing options.
  • 3 When a nonprofit moves forward with a solar financing option, all relevant contracts are signed.
  • 4 The solar system is installed and RE-volv pays the Preferred Installer along a milestone payment schedule. The nonprofit doesn’t make a payment to RE-volv until the solar system receives permission to operate (PTO) from the utility.
  • 5 RE-volv’s financing products are intended to save nonprofits 15% or more on their electricity bills on day one and lock in low electricity rates for decades to come.
  • 6 RE-volv helps engage and educate the nonprofit’s community and the public about the new solar system and the benefits of solar, with the goal of accelerating local solar adoption.
