Victory Outreach is an international church-oriented Christian ministry which has promoted faith-based community healing since 1974. The Victory Outreach Church, based in Palmdale, California, has served Palmdale residents for 30 years. Centered on issues such as youth education, veteran support, and substance abuse treatment homes, Victory Outreach’s community development efforts are wide-ranging and far-reaching. As community support needs grow, Victory Outreach also expands its offerings to include climate-resilient, extreme weather programs. 

Victory Outreach shares that “partnerships with civic leaders in unhoused outreach and placement with other nonprofit housing agencies” is one of their key areas of focus and commitment. Each year, Victory Outreach supports 36,400 congregants and community members. Increasing instances of extreme weather events in Palmdale have prompted Victory Outreach to open its space as an emergency shelter, providing meals and temporary housing. Additionally, Victory Outreach operates Victory Homes, a faith-based substance abuse treatment center for men and women, year-round.

Bringing Solar to Victory Outreach Church 

In August 2024, Victory Outreach Church completed installation of their 29 kW solar array. This solar system will save Victory Outreach Church more than $494,400 on electricity bills over the lifetime of the system while removing 1.9 million pounds of emissions from entering the atmosphere. With the savings from going solar with RE-volv, Victory Outreach Church will be able to invest these savings back into their programing, including plans to run preschool to middle school education programs.
