Montclair Presbyterian Church, located in Oakland, California, is a community of joyfully imperfect people who welcome all with hospitality, openness and acceptance. With roughly 100 congregation members, the church focuses on being multigenerational, championing social justice and welcoming absolutely everyone, including people of all religious histories, the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized people. The church holds weekly Sunday worship among community events and programs, such as Earth Care, Climate and Democracy Programs and their Faith Trio Food Distribution.

Three of Montclair’s buildings are going solar with RE-volv! Montclair Presbyerian Church 5677, 5667, and 5732. The buildings include: the manse (pastor's home), the church office and the rental house. In total, they are in the process of installing 15 kW of solar power, allowing them to save $318,000 on their electricity bills over the solar system’s lifetime. They will also avoid 842,000 Ibs of CO2 emissions from polluting the local air. Montclair is excited to invest solar savings into further electrifying the church campus.
