Easter Hill Methodist Church has served the community of Richmond, California for over 70 years now. Congregation member, Mario Caro, shared that, “The church is a hub in the community and truly multi-generational.”

Beyond worship services, the church offers monthly complimentary meal services and runs a school called, “Freedom School,” which educates 45-40 elementary students each year. By going solar, the church will save $252,000 over the system’s lifetime. They plan to reinvest savings into hiring a youth director and building its music ministry.

This September, Clean Point completed the 9 kW solar installation for Easter Hill Methodist Church. They are in the process of installing battery storage this fall.

The congregation has plans to host a community solar ribbon cutting next year.
