Chochmat HaLev

Since 2005, Chochmat HaLev has provided a vibrant space for Jewish worship and community in Berkeley, California. As a Jewish Renewal congregation, Chochmat practices a socially progressive, egalitarian, and trans-denominational approach to spirituality. Beyond worship, they are leaders in local social and environmental justice, driving impact through immigrant accompaniment groups, anti-racism mitzvah projects, and dedicated climate justice initiatives.

With support from RE-volv, Chochmat HaLev’s transition to solar energy will strengthen their organizational commitment to practice “courage and resilience.” By saving thousands of dollars on energy bills, Chochmat HaLev will reinvest their savings to expand community outreach services, affinity groups and commitment to sustainability.
